#CountMeIn: Immigrant Rights Community Rallies Outside of the Supreme Court

Immigrants, friends and progressive allies will gather outside of the Supreme Court to rally in support of a fair and accurate 2020 census.

On Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. immigrants, friends and progressive allies will gather outside of the Supreme Court to rally in support of a fair and accurate 2020 census. The rally will kick off after the Supreme Court oral arguments around the addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 census. Plaintiffs, legal experts and community members will share personal stories about the work to ensure everyone is counted, and the implications of this question.

Last year, the Trump administration gave a green light to adding an untested, and dangerous citizenship question to the 2020 Census–a move that could lead to severe under-counts of communities of color and immigrants.
